Exhibition opening in Cologne, Germany: meeting with abuse survivors at Filmhaus

The Cologne-based association ‘UMSTEUERN! ROBINSISTERHOOD e.V.’, together with the Swiss 'Justice Initiative', organised the exhibition 'Shame - European Stories' at the Filmhaus in Cologne. The exhibition - consisting of numerous large-format portraits of victims of abuse from all over Europe - opened March 10, 2023.

Exhibition Opening in Bilbao, Spain: Survivors of Child Abuse tell their Stories

The  exhibition "SHAME - European Stories" opened today simultaneously at the Museo Arte Sacro Bilbao and at the Bilbao Metro stations of Moyua and Indautxu. The exhibition, supported by the Council of Europe, features survivors of abuse from all over Europe, including Spanish survivors. In their opening speeches, politicians and experts stressed the importance of coming to terms with abuse, especially in Spain.

Bucharest: Opening of Exhibition for Victims of Child Abuse

The photo exhibition "SHAME - European Stories" was inaugurated today at the metro station Piața Unirii  in Bucharest. Organised by Justice Initiative and under the patronage of the Council of Europe, the exhibition brings together dozens of portraits and stories of survivors of childhood abuse. In their opening speeches, Romanian politicians and experts stressed the importance of understanding and preventing child abuse - in Europe, but especially in Romania.
